How is this different from as seen on TV products and over the-counter products?
Your treatment will be done using professiona producsts and custom fitted trays. Over the counter trays do not fit snugly over your teeth and cause spotting of your teeth by not allowing the gel to be evenly distributed over your teeth. Also, some over-the counter products contain harmful abrasives or acids which may damage your teeth or gums.
Why are my teeth not whitening evenly?
When your teeth are whiter along the edges of your teeth, this is due to the enamel being thinner along the edges of your teeth. With time and continued whitening treatment use it will whiten where the enamel is thicker to the same shade as the edges. If your teeth have white round spots, that is called calcium deposits. As you whiten your teeth these flare up. Continue to whiten your teeth using our treatment until the other part of your tooth reaches the color you desire and then discontinue. The calcium deposit will reside within a few weeks of not using the product.
What is the difference between custom mouth pieces and laser whitening?
Laser is done when a dentist applies a 35% Hydrogen Peroxide solution to your teeth. When the soltion is on, an LED light is held very closely to your mouth (couple of inches away from your teeth) to speed up the chemical reaction of the Hydrogen Peroxide. The benefit of doing laser whitening is that your teeth become white instantaneously. This procedure cost $400 plus at the dentists office. But we do carry the same type of LED laser lighting that would speed up the reaction of our gels as well.
